An Exhaust Valve is a critical component in the cylinder head of an internal combustion engine. It is responsible for controlling the flow of exhaust gases from the combustion chamber to the exhaust unit. The Exhaust Valve consists of a valve stem, valve head, and valve seat. The valve stem extends from the valve head and is connected to the valve lifter or rocker arm, which is actuated by the camshaft. When the camshaft rotates, it lifts the lifter or rocker arm, which in turn opens the Exhaust Valve.
