The Diaphragm is strategically placed within the brake system, often located in the brake master cylinder or other components involved in pressure modulation. Its primary function is to regulate the hydraulic pressure applied to the brakes. When the brake pedal is pressed, hydraulic fluid is forced into the brake system, creating pressure. The brake control diaphragm responds to this pressure by flexing or deforming. This flexing action allows the hydraulic fluid to flow through the brake lines and apply force to the brake pads.
