Cat Air Controlled Brake Valves are mechanical devices used as a secondary brakes of Cat machines. The air brake system uses compressed air to push the brake shoe lining onto the brake drum creating friction to slow the wheel down. Since our machines are carrying so much weight, they rely on air because compressed air can be constantly produced, unlike hydraulic fluid.
