A Control Pedal Housing encloses the governor unit and protects it from damage. The Pedal is a foot-operated lever that is connected to the linkage, which in turn is connected to the governor unit. When the operator presses down on the Pedal, the linkage moves the governor unit, which adjusts the fuel flow to the engine.
