A Ball Valve consists of a ball-shaped disc with a hole in the center that rotates inside a spherical chamber to control the flow of fluid through the valve. The Ball Valve typically has two ports, an inlet and an outlet, with a handle or lever that can be used to rotate the ball and control the flow of fluid through the valve. When the ball is rotated so that the hole is aligned with the inlet and outlet ports, fluid can flow through the valve. When the ball is rotated so that the hole is perpendicular to the ports, the flow of fluid is blocked.
