A Governor Control Shaft is used in Governor and Fuel Pump assembly to control the governor. It contains a long, cylindrical shaft and a collar that is designed with slots to fit in the governor to transmit the rotational movement from the engine to the governor. It is mounted in the governor using bearings and the collar is a separate component that is fitted onto the shaft to control the position of the governor's control valve.
