A Water Temperature Sender, also known as a coolant temperature sensor or coolant temperature sender, is a critical part of the cooling unit. It is responsible for monitoring the Temperature of the engine coolant and providing accurate readings to the Temperature gauge or engine control unit (ECU). It consists of a Temperature-sensitive element, such as a thermistor or thermocouple, which changes its electrical resistance in response to Temperature variations.
