A Hood Guard Support is used in the Hood Guard assembly to support the guard plates. The Support assembly contains a block, sheet, plates, supports, and weld nuts that are welded to be mounted on the front frame, providing additional support and stability to the hood guard assembly. It acts as a mount for the guards that are fixed using fasteners. It is typically made of highly durable metal to withstand the high forces and vibrations that are generated by the engine.
