An Oil Cooler Core is a component of the power steering unit that is used to dissipate heat generated during steering fluid circulation. The Core is made up of a series of small, thin-walled tubes that are arranged in a grid-like pattern, with fins attached to the outside of each tube. When the hot steering fluid flows through the tubes, the fins help to transfer the heat to the surrounding air, allowing the fluid to cool before it returns to the power steering pump.
