The Temperature sensors use thermocouples or thermistors to sense the temperature of oil, water, or air. A sensor that works with thermocouples typically consists of two different metals that are joined together at one end. When the joined end is heated or cooled, a voltage is produced across the other end of the metals and this voltage can be measured and used to determine the temperature. And a temperature sensor that works with thermistors uses a special type of resistor made from a material that changes its resistance in response to changes in temperature.
