A Gas Spring is used to assist in opening and closing a Storage Box Cover. The Spring assembly consists of a cylinder, piston, and rod in which the cylinder contains a pressurized gas, and the piston is fitted with seals that prevent the gas from escaping or leaking. It is mounted on the storage box assembly and is used to apply force to the cover to open it and hold it in position.
Attributes:
? Provided with an extended length of 392mm and a closed length of 272mm with a smooth and controlled movement of the Storage Box Cover.
? Provided with a stroke length of a minimum of 120mm to reduce the risk of the cover slamming shut.
? High strength and wear resistance.
Applications:
A Gas Spring is used to provide support in opening and closing the cover in the Storage Box, mostly used in CAT 313, 320, 323, 324, 326, 330, 333, 336, 336F, 340, 345, 349, 349D, 352, 355, 528, MH3032 and MH3050 Excavators, MD6640 Drills, MH3040, MH3250, and MH3260 Material Handler.
