A Torsion Spring is a wire spring that stores energy when twisted or rotated around its axis. It is typically made of wire and has two ends, which are attached to other parts of a mechanism. It exerts a torque proportional to the degree of twist, Torsion Spring works by twisting its end along its axis; that is, a flexible elastic object that stores mechanical energy when it is twisted. When it is twisted, it exerts a torque in the opposite direction, proportional to the amount (angle) it is twisted.
