A Thrust Plate is a component that is designed to control the axial movement of the balancer shaft, which can cause damage to the bushings and other components. It is designed to fit the assembly of Gear Weight with the Balance Weight Shaft sealing the components. The Plate is typically located at the rear of the engine block and is secured in place by bolts. It is made from a durable material, such as steel, and is designed to withstand the high forces generated by the engine.
