An Exhaust Heat Shield is used in the turbocharger to protect the surrounding components from excessive heat. It is designed with slots to be mounted on the exhaust assembly to protect the components from the high temperature of the exhaust manifold, preventing them from overheating and potentially causing damage or failure.
