A Belt Tightener Extension Spring is used to support the belt tightener mechanism in the Fan Drive assembly on the Engine. It is designed to apply force to the idler pulley to keep it tight or secure in the belt-tightener shaft and bracket assembly. It is typically made of high-quality material and is designed to be very strong and durable, capable of supporting heavy loads and withstanding constant wear and tear.

? Provided with inserts on each end, which allow the spring to be attached to other components.
? Absorbs and stores mechanical energy when deformed and releases it when the force is removed.
? Provided with 33 active coils and 6 inactive coils that help to maintain their shape and stability.
? Provided with a spring rate of 8.0 N/mm after initial tension of 375N, which provides high stiffness to the spring.
