Description:
A Steering Pressure Sensor is a device that measures the hydraulic pressure within the power steering unit. The sensor is placed in line with the power steering fluid circuit and detects the pressure changes within the unit as the driver turns the steering wheel. The sensor consists of a pressure-sensitive element, usually a diaphragm or piezoresistive element, that converts the hydraulic pressure into an electrical signal.
