Description:
A Universal Flange Joint is used to connect two rotating shafts at an angle. The Universal Flange Joint consists of two yokes, each attached to the end of a shaft, and a center block or cross that connects the yokes. The design of the universal joint allows for angular displacement and compensates for axial and radial misalignments between the shafts. It is typically made of steel.
