A battery hold-down bracket is a component used in vehicles to secure the battery in place and prevent it from moving or vibrating while the vehicle is in motion. The assembly consists of a metal bracket that fits over the top of the battery, with a bolt or clamping mechanism that attaches to the vehicle frame or other secure location.
