The brake pedal is essential to a vehicle's braking system, allowing the driver to slow down or stop the vehicle with precision and control. It is located to the right of the accelerator pedal and is operated by pressing down on the top portion of the pedal with the driver's right foot. When the pedal is depressed, pressure is generated in the brake lines, causing the brake pads or shoes to clamp down on the brake rotors or drums and slow down the vehicle.
Attributes:
? Designed with a sturdy metal construction to withstand the forces and wear and tear associated with frequent use.
? Feature a non-slip surface to prevent the driver's foot from slipping.
Applications:
The brake pedal transmits the driver's input to the brake calipers or drums located at each wheel and is widely used in Cat 815, 816, 826K, 836K, 815K Earthmoving Compactor, 814, 854K, 814K, 834K, 844K Wheel Dozer, 992K, 990K, 993K, 988K, and 988K Xe Wheel-type Loader.
