The Normally Closed (NC) contact block is a type of electrical switch component commonly used in industrial control systems. It is typically used in conjunction with a Normally Open (NO) contact block to form a relay or contactor. The NC contact block consists of a set of contacts that are normally closed when there is no current flowing through the circuit. When current flows through the circuit, the NC contacts open, interrupting the flow of current.
