Water separators, such as 233-7973, are designed to eliminate virtually all free water and 90% of emulsified water, along with smaller contaminants, while helping extend the life of your fuel system. This part features an advanced internal fuel shut-off valve that prevents unfiltered fuel from entering the clean side passages during element removal and provides a consistent prime with less chance for trapped air to circulate through the fuel system.
