A Lip Seal is designed to provide a tight seal against the crankshaft, creating a positive seal to prevent the loss of lubricant and maintain proper lubrication from the Flywheel Housing, which helps to reduce friction and prevent premature wear as well as its ability to withstand extreme temperatures and harsh environmental conditions.
