A magnetic switch for an air shutoff valve is an electromechanical device designed to control the opening and closing of the valve based on electrical signals. It contains a magnetically actuated mechanism and an electrical circuit. When an electrical current is applied to the switch, it generates a magnetic field that interacts with the magnetic element in the valve, causing it to either open or close. This allows the air to flow freely through the valve. In the OFF state, the switch is de-energized, and the magnetic field weakens or disappears, releasing the magnetic element in the valve. As a result, the valve closes, blocking the airflow.
