A gas spring for a storage enclosure is a device designed to provide controlled and effortless movement for the enclosure's lid, door, or cover. It contains a cylinder filled with compressed gas, nitrogen, and a piston that moves within the cylinder. The gas spring is installed on either side of the enclosure, connecting the enclosure frame to the moving component. When the Enclosure is opened, the gas spring extends, applying a force that supports the weight of the lid or door and keeps it in an open position.
