An Interference Stud is designed to create a tight, secure connection between two mating parts through an interference fit. The Stud features threads along its entire length, allowing for engagement with the mating parts, and one end of the stud is tapered, facilitating simple insertion into a prepared hole in the mating part. It is typically made of materials such as steel or alloy to ensure load-bearing capacity.
